American actress and producer Sandra Annette Bullock was born on July 26, 1964. Bullock was born in the Washington, D.C. area of Arlington County, Virginia. Helga Mathilde and John Wilson Bullock are Sandra’s parents. German opera soprano and voice instructor, her mother. The Army also employs Sandra’s father, an Alabama native from Birmingham, as a vocal coach.
Bullock was the highest-paid actress in the world in 2010 and 2014. She has received multiple honours, including a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. She was listed among the top 100 most important people in the world by Time magazine in 2010.
Her mother and father first met in Nuremberg, when her father was posted and in charge of the Army’s Military Postal Service in Europe. Bullock attended Sanford Meisner’s acting classes in New York. She appeared in several student films before landing a role in the Off-Broadway production of No Time Flat.
