In Paris, France, Arnold was born and raised. After six years in London, he returned to Paris to film Emily in Paris.
Since he was young, he had an interest in acting. Before starting his film career, he participated in a number of theater ventures.
He began as a trained dancer before switching to acting. Alongside Ralph Fiennes, he appeared in Anthony and Cleopatra at the National Theatre in London. He later starred in the French television movie Tuer un Homme.
