The election is upon us and as usual, influential personalities, especially from the entertainment sector are contributing their quota towards a peaceful election.
Samini and Kofi Kinaata of High Grade Family are among the tall list of Ghanaian influential personalities fighting for peace before, during and after the December polls.

Instead of coming out with just a peace statement, Samini took a different dimension. He has joined hands with his protégé Kinaata for a peace song called “Mama Ghana”. The video was unveiled at a press launch yesterday (November 1) at +233 Jazz Bar & Grill in Accra.
Samini said during the press conference that “When they (politicians) come with their money, goodies, charm, promises to threaten our peace, when they come, tell them Samini says — We Want Peace.”

Kofi Kinaata also added that “this song by us is call to action. Personally, I am calling on Ghanaian youth to rise above the occasion. Let’s show our leaders we are worth more than the pennies they give us. Peace We Want.”
