Samartex Football Club General Manager, Edmund Ackah, has attributed the club’s exceptional performance in the Ghana Premier League this season to their attractiveness as a club.

Ackah revealed that Samartex FC has outshone traditional powerhouses Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko in terms of appeal, which has contributed to their success on the field.

In an interview with Accra 100.5FM, Ackah stated, “It’s not a matter of Samartex FC taking advantage of the struggles of Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko. Nowadays Samartex FC have become more attractive than the two clubs. At first, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko could go around and sign the best players of the other clubs at the end of every season. These days things are not the same. We are doing well because of the way we do our things.”

As a result of their impressive performances, Samartex FC currently sit at the top of the league standings, while Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko languish in 9th and 11th place respectively.
