Sam Hunt is a composer and performer from the United States.
Sam was an athlete when he was younger, playing football for his high school and university teams.
However, due to an injury, he was unable to play professional football and instead chose to pursue music. He enjoyed country music, but he distinguished himself by breaking away from stereotypical country tunes and developing his own style that incorporates elements of R&B and Hip Hop.
It wasn’t long before he signed with MCA Nashville and released a four-song EP named X2C, with his debut hit Leave the Night On reaching number one on the Country Airplay list.
His debut studio album Montevallo which was released in 2014 peaked at number one on the Top Country Albums list for 11 weeks. He published his second studio album Southside in 2020 and has completed two successful US tours.

He does not have a child yet. He was however expecting a child with his estranged wife who his currently divorcing him over adulterous actions in their marriage.
The child is due on May this year.
