Sam Corlett, an Australian actor, and model was born on April 23, 1995.
He plays Leif Eriksson in the Netflix series Vikings: Valhalla.
Corlett is the son of a therapist and a shopkeeper. He was born on the central coast of New South Wales, Australia. Growing up, he had no plans to pursue a career in acting.
However, combining his love of athletics with his interests in art, psychology, human behavior, philosophy, and literature, he recognized that all of his hobbies could be united on the stage and screen.
He signed with Vivienne Models when he was nineteen, but acting has always been his primary love.
Corlett has trained under eminent instructors including Andrew Lewis, Glenda Linscott, Elizabeth Kemp, and Les Chantery. He earned a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Acting from the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2018.
His most well-known roles are Prince Caliban in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Luke in Robert Connelly’s feature film version of the best-selling book The Dry.
