Samuel Holland Burns, born July 23, 1996, in Shreveport, Louisiana, is an American professional golfer who competes on the PGA Tour. He attended Louisiana State University for his college golf career. He won the Valspar Championship and the Sanderson Farms Championship in 2021.
Burns attended Louisiana State University and won four tournaments in 15 collegiate starts during his sophomore year. He was a first-team All-American and the 2016-17 NCAA Division I Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year.
