Sabine Lisicki is a German tennis player who turned pro in 2006. Her breakthrough was in 2009 when she reached the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon Championships and also won her first title on the WTA Tour, at the Family Circle Cup. She is the daughter of Dr. Richard Lisicki, of German and Polish descent, and his wife, Elisabeth, of Polish.
