Born on February 15, 1988, Rui Pedro dos Santos Patrcio ComM is a Portuguese professional football goalkeeper who competes for both the Portugal national team and Serie A team Roma. Because of his saves for club and country, he is frequently referred to as “Saint Patrcio.”

After Paulo Bento was named head coach in 2010, Patrcio won his first and 100th caps for Portugal. He competed for his country in three World Cups and four European Championships, winning both the 2016 and 2019 Nations League competitions.

Wife and Children

After dating Joana Pereira for seven years, Patrcio wed her in June 2011. At the age of 23, he filed for divorce on December 24 of that year. He has a son and a daughter with television sexologist Vera Ribeiro, with whom he is married as of 2019.

Parents and Siblings

In the Portuguese town of Marrazes, Leiria, Patricio was born to his mother, Beliza Patrcio, and father, Patrcio Rui.

Nídia Patrcio, who is now married and goes by the name Ndia Santos, was Rui Patricio’s sister.
