Rosely Schweizer, née Oetker, is a German businesswoman and CDU politician.
She was born on July 16, 1940, in Hamburg. She served as a CDU representative in the Baden-Württemberg state legislature from 1992 until 2001.
Rosely Schweizer, the eldest child of Marlene and Rudolf-August Oetker, was born in Hamburg.
She studied economics at Innsbruck after completing her secondary school education in Rendsburg, becoming a licensed economist in 1964.
She joined the board of the German Child Protection Association in 1976. As chairwoman of the advisory board and a personally accountable partner at Henkell & Söhnlein, she assumed these roles.
She took the helm of the Oetker Group’s advisory board after the passing of her father in 2007.
Schweizer has three children and is wed to businessman Folkart Schweizer.
Between 1984 and 2006, Schweizer served on the Murrhardt town council.
She was chosen to serve on the CDU Economic Council’s national board in 1987, and she was chosen to lead the Baden-Württemberg State Association of the Economic Council in 1995.
She served in the Baden-Württemberg state parliament from 1992 until 2001.
She served as the CDU parliamentary group’s economic policy spokeswoman and represented constituency 17 in Backnang.
