American amateur golfer Rose Zhang is currently ranked first in the world among amateur golfers. She participates in golf competitions for Stanford University. Rose was born to parents Haibin Zhang and Li Cai on May 24, 2003. She is 19 years old at the moment. Rose Zhang is of Chinese origin
She won the individual NCAA Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club on May 23, 2022, by three strokes. She ultimately took up the Annika Award as the top female collegiate golfer of the year.
Zhang won the pivotal match, 3-1, assisting Stanford in capturing their second NCAA team title. The WGCA Freshman of the Year, the Honda Sport Award for Golf, and Player of the Year were among the honours bestowed upon her.
She competed in the 2019 U.S. Women’s Open when she was just sixteen years old. She also competed for the gold-winning squad at the 2019 Pan American Games. Rose won the U.S. Women’s Amateur at Woodmont Country Club in August 2020. She defeated Australian Gabriela Ruffels on the 38th hole to win the competition.
