Mary Lou and Forty Days music composer Ronnie Hawkins dies at 87. Ronnie Hawkings was a Canadian songwriter and singer born on January 10, 1935. He was regarded as Canada’s most important rock and roll act.
“He was not only a great artist, tremendous performer, and bandleader but had a style of humor unequaled,” A member of his band said in a memory shared on Twitter. “Fall funny and unique. Yep, God only made one of those. And he will live in our hearts forever. My deepest condolences to his family”.

Royal Allen Hawkins and Bobbie Law were his only Siblings. They spent the greater parts of their life in Canada with their parents Flora and Jasper Hawkins.
Ronnie’s wife shared a few words about her husband’s death with The Canadian Press,
“Ronnie went peacefully and he looked as handsome as ever”.
