Ron Johnson is an American businessman and politician serving as Wisconsin’s senior United States Senator as well as a member of the Republican Party. Johnson was elected to the Senate defeating Democratic incumbent Russ Feingold in 2010.
He was then reelected in 2016 defeating Feingold again. Johnson was chief executive officer of a plastics and polyester manufacturing company founded by his brother-in-law before joining politics.
