Rollo, an English music producer, was born Rowland Constantine O’Malley Armstrong on May 8, 1966.
He is one half of the remix/production duo Rollo & Sister Bliss and a founding member of the electronic music group Faithless. His remixes of music by musicians including Pet Shop Boys, Simply Red, R. Kelly, U2, Moby, Grace, Tricky, and Suede are just a few examples.
Rollo was conceived by an Irish publisher and a French-English poet. He co-wrote and produced several of his younger sister Dido’s multi-million-selling albums, including No Angel, Life for Rent, Safe Trip Home, and Still on My Mind.
While a student at the University of York, he actively participated in the student radio station URY.
