
American-British movie director Roger Graef has died. He died on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the age of 85.
Born in New York, Graef moved to Britain in 1962 to start a career producing documentary films investigating previously closed institutions, including Government ministries and court buildings.
He produced top-notch documentaries like One Of Them Is Brett, State Of The Nation: A Law In The Making, and Police, and created over 30 documentaries on the police and judicial system in the UK.
Graef was awarded the prestigious Bafta Fellowship in 2004.
He was also a writer who regularly wrote for major UK publications including the Sunday Times, Daily and Sunday Telegraph, Guardian and the Observer, Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday.
