Roger Daltrey is an English singer, musician, and actor who was born on March 1, 1944. He is the lead singer and co-founder of the rock group The Who.

In 1973, while still a member of The Who, he started his solo career. Harry and Irene Daltrey welcomed their third child, Daltrey, on March 1, 1944 at Hammersmith Hospital in East Acton, London. Three-month-old Roger and his mother had to be moved to a farm in Scotland when insurance clerk Harry Daltrey was called up to serve in the Second World War.
