Robyn Griggs was an American stage, television, and film actress. Robyn was born in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, on April 30, 1973. Robyn began her career as a child actor when she played the role of Molly in Annie. She hosted the Nickelodeon kids’ show Rated K.
She rose to fame most notably for her performances as Stephanie Hobart on One Life to Live, for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award, and as Maggie Cory on Another World.
In 1995, Griggs was let go from Another World and started acting again. She had appearances in indie horror movies including Ghost Tour and Zombiegeddon. Additionally, she created the concept CD Love’s Young Nightmare. She served as the host of the Twisted Nightmare Weekend horror convention in 2003.
She took time away from acting after having grown weary of acting on television during the day and then in the theatre at night. After some years out of the spotlight, Griggs returned to acting, mainly in independent horror films, including Zombiegeddon and Ghost Tour, and hosted the horror convention Twisted Nightmare Weekend.
Robyn Griggs was diagnosed with stage 4 endocervical adeno in the fall of 2020. According to her doctors, her condition was almost certainly terminal.
Robyn Griggs was married to Mark Wiley, a professional golfer. The two got married in the year 2013. Robyn and her husband had no children as a couple. As of August 13, 2022, at the time of Robyn’s death, there is no record indicating that she had any children.
