Robert Hainsey is an American football center player with the National Football League’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was born on August 12, 1998, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is 24 years old. At Notre Dame, he participated in collegiate football. He was chosen to the 2020 All-ACC second team and was a finalist for the senior class award in 2020. He has a 40-yard dash of 5.21s and he plays Tampa with the likes of Kyle Trask, Blaine Gabbert, and Tom Brady.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Hainsey in the third round, 95th overall, of the 2021 NFL Draft. On July 21, 2021, he agreed to a four-year rookie deal with Tampa Bay.
Robert did not allow a sack on 423 snaps (252 pass plays) during his junior season in 2019, starting the first eight games before sustaining a season-ending injury against Virginia Tech. He also gave up just two quarterback hits and six quarterback hurries.
