As it stands, Robert Gottlieb, a famous American writer and editor is no more. He was born to his parents on April 29, 1931, in New York, New York, United States, but sadly passed away on June 14, 2023, in a hospital in Manhattan, at the age of 92.
He was the editor-in-chief of Simon & Schuster, Alfred A. Knopf, and The New Yorker who began his career in the 50s. He joined Simon & Schuster in 1955 as an editorial assistant to Jack Goodman, the editor-in-chief.
