Robert Gene Carter

Aaron Carter, a pop artist who enjoyed success in the early 2000s and was the younger brother of a Backstreet Boy, died on Saturday, according to a statement from one of his representatives.

He was 34.

Roger Paul’s statement did not include the cause of death. Detectives are looking into an allegation of a “weird death” that happened on Saturday at Carter’s home in Lancaster, California, according to a representative for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office.

Earlier this year, Carter, who struggled with addiction, declared that he had been sober for five years. He was a Backstreet Boys member and Nick Carter’s brother. The rapper-turned-singer became well-known thanks to the early 2000s hits “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It),” “I Want Candy,” and “That’s How I Beat Shaq.”

He released his first solo album in Europe on December 1, 1997, just six days before he turned ten. The fact that one million copies of the song were sold internationally shows his early climb to stardom.

Robert Gene Carter’s cause of death: What happened to Nick and Aaron Carter’s dad?

Aaron Carter’s mother is still alive, but his father Robert Gene Carter has passed away. Nick Carter, a musician, singer, and actor, and Aaron Carter, a well-known pop and hip-hop artist in the 1990s, are both famous children of Jane Elizabeth Carter.

Jane has five kids, most of whom are vocalists and most of them are musicians. Her son Aaron Carter rose to fame in the 1990s for his pop and hip-hop songs among youthful audiences. Her other son, Nick Carter, is a well-known performer and teen idol who is a member of the Backstreet Boys.

Robert Gene Carter, Aaron’s father, is no longer among the living. In 2017, a heart attack claimed his life. He passed away at age 65.
