Actor Robert Axelrod, sometimes known as Axel Roberts and Myron Mensah (May 29, 1949 – September 7, 2019), was born in the United States. Since he began doing voice acting for English-language anime in 1980, he was primarily renowned for his work on Digimon, as well as for lending his voice to Lord Zedd, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ main antagonist, and to Finster, the show’s original monster creator.
In The Blob, he played Jennings, a sympathetic psychiatrist. Later in his career, he made appearances in various shows by the comedic team Tim & Eric. He also played a Paul McCartney lookalike on the popular sitcom Family Matters.
