Robert Norman Reiner, an American actor, and director was born on March 6, 1947. He is currently 75 years old.
With his appearance as Michael “Meathead” Stivic on the CBS comedy All in the Family (1971–1979), which won him two Primetime Emmy Awards, Reiner first gained widespread recognition as an actor.
The romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally… (1989), the military courtroom drama A Few Good Men (1992), and the coming-of-age drama Stand by Me (1986) all received nominations for Reiner’s direction at the Directors Guild of America Awards.
The latter film also garnered him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Picture.
Additionally, he has been nominated four times for the Golden Globe for Best Director.
