Robert James Gronkowski (born May 14, 1989) is an American football tight end who spent most of his professional career with the National Football League’s New England Patriots (NFL).
He is a three-time Super Bowl champion (XLIX, LI, and LIII), a five-time Pro Bowl pick, a four-time First Team All-Pro selection, and a member of the NFL’s All-Decade Team and the NFL’s 100th Anniversary All-Time Team.
Gronkowski was a tight end for the University of Arizona football team from 2007 to 2009.
He was selected 42nd overall by the New England Patriots in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
With his multiple successes and awards, he is recognized not just as one of football’s top players, but also as the greatest tight end to ever play the game by many sports analysts, journalists, and peers.
