The entertainment industry has just received heartbreaking news about a legendary Indonesian actress. Rima Melati, a senior actress, reportedly died today (June 23) at the age of 84.
This has caused quite a stir on social media due to her impressive lifetime achievements in the movie industry. Interestingly her real name was Marjolein Tambayong, however, she is known by her stage name Rima Melati.

According to news reports, she died on the same day at the Army Hospital. Rima Melati has been in the hospital for several days due to illness. However, her death cause has still not been issued to resolve the mystery surrounding her death.
She was born on August 22, 1937, and doubles as an actress and singer. Rima appeared in several films, including Cinta Tak Sampai and Noda Tak Berampun. He has appeared in over 30 films.
In the early 70s, Rima was also awarded the Citra Cup for Best Leading Actress.
