Talented midfielder, Mohamed Diomandé, has made the decision to represent Ivory Coast at the international level, choosing his parents’ country over Ghana. The 22-year-old, who can also play as a winger, is a product of the prestigious Ghanaian academy, Right to Dream Academy.

Currently plying his trade for Scottish Premiership side Rangers, Diomandé has been making a name for himself as a promising young player. In March, he was called up by Ghana head coach Otto Addo for the international friendly matches against Nigeria and Uganda but did not honor the invitation at the time.

Reports suggest that the midfielder had been considering the option of representing the Black Stars but has now made his final decision to play for Ivory Coast. With the June international break approaching, Diomandé is eager to showcase his skills and talent with the Elephants in the upcoming qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ghanafuo.com will be keeping a close eye on Diomandé as he embarks on this new chapter in his international career, wishing him all the best as he represents Ivory Coast on the world stage.
