Rapper Rick Ross has announced his partnership with cannabis brand High Tolerance to release a new strain of cannabis called “Collins Avenue”. The strain, named after Ross’s old Miami-Dade stomping grounds, is set to launch on June 1st and is being hailed by Ross as “the best flower in the world”.
Ross is the latest high-profile rapper to join forces with High Tolerance, following in the footsteps of Jadakiss, Jim Jones, and Ghostface Killah, among others. The rapper-turned-cannabis-distributor is enthusiastic about the collaboration, saying, “This is why I decided to team up with High Tolerance. They have the best flower on the streets.”
The news of Ross’s new business venture comes just days after the rapper made headlines when his livestock escaped from his 235-acre estate. Ross proved to be a good sport about the incident, introducing his followers to his pet bison “Timbuktu” while feeding it apples on his estate.
