Chloe Madeley and husband James Haskell have had their first child, a baby girl.
The married couple made the announcement shortly after their baby girl was born.
On Good Morning Britain, the former rugby player expressed his joy after learning Chloe was pregnant.
He came on the show alongside Richard, Chloe’s father-in-law, who enthusiastically presented a snap of Chloe’s 12-week baby ultrasound.
In a tribute to Richard, James claimed he was the finest grandfather in the world to his three-year-old grandson Kit.
Meanwhile, Richard previously disclosed Chloe’s due date on an episode of Loose Women.
“She was due on the 5th of August, but they’ve changed it to the 7th,” he said to an ITV panel.
“She’s now in France, approaching 34 weeks.”
He expressed his delight, saying, “Of course I am since she is having a little daughter.”
“There’s something about your daughter having a young girl that shouldn’t matter, but it does.”
Richard went on to remark that he liked being a grandfather and that having children is “like owning a house” and having grandkids is “like getting an extension on it.”
Chloe has been eager to share details of her pregnancy with followers, including how she was “very excited to rehab my body postnatally.”
The couple, who met in 2014, married during the holidays in 2018.
