Richard Michael Genelle (October 12, 1961 – December 30, 2008) was an entrepreneur and actor best known for his role as Ernie in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers television series.

Genelle played Ernie, the amiable proprietor of the Angel Grove Youth Center, the most well-liked hangout for teenagers in Angel Grove, from 1993 until 1997. He frequently served as a host for birthday celebrations, school events, martial arts competitions, and charitable gatherings in the neighborhood. Along with providing free food and drinks, he also assisted his clients when they needed it. Ernie abruptly left the Youth Center after four seasons to perform emergency volunteer work in South America, giving Jerome Stone ownership of the facility.
In real life, Genelle left the show to address his smoking issues and obesity, and he was able to successfully shed over forty pounds. In Cerritos, California, he founded Retail Logistics Solutions, Inc. to offer transportation services. On December 30, 2008, Genelle suffered a heart attack and passed away at the age of 47. In Riverside, California’s Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park, a funeral service for him was held. In that cemetery, he was buried.
