A deep throat source has revealed to ghanafuo.com that Ghana’s biggest act of the moment, Shatta Wale was cut from performing at the event because he refused to rehearse.
Shatta Wale was billed to perform at the CAF awards held in Ghana on January 4 where footballers and football people were honoured for their exceptional contribution to football in the year under review.
However, the artiste did not perform on the night of the show although his teeming fans were expecting him to.
There were several reports that Shatta Wale did not perform on the night because of a breach ion contract and the fact that organisers did not accord him the needed respect.
But a member of the event organisers has disclosed to ghanafuo.com that, all artistes billed for the night were expected to rehearse with the band for the show which was strictly live band performance but Shatta Wale refused to do so hence the reason why he was prevented from performing.
Twitter users have since vented their spleen on organisers of the show for making Nigerians dominate in the performances when the awards ceremony was hosted by Ghana.
