The police are reportedly in possession of a human skull and other human body parts, and residents of the Adamo area in Ikorodu, Lagos State, have turned in a Chief Imam known as Babalola and four accomplices.
Upon being caught in possession of a human skull, one of the Islamic clerics admitted to working for his principal, Imam Babalola, according to a resident and eyewitness who verified this on that fateful blessed Friday.
According to the resident, the suspects were taken into custody on Thursday by the Lagos State anti-cultist and kidnapping police unit at Araro Adamo.
Meanwhile, a resident also added, “I have known the Iman for more than even 5 years, and this is a man the whole community is standing behind to pray, someone that most of us are looking up to.”
“He said that he was holding them for the Imam when people saw him with his men’s heads and other human parts of the body. At this point, the source continued, “The people stormed the Imam’s house and arrested him along with four of his men.”
The Baale of Leme community, Chief Moshood Ogunwolu, filed a report at Kemta Divisional Headquarters, which led to the arrest of the suspects.
A certain Pastor, Adisa Olarewaju, who shares a rental with the suspects, claims that Ogunwolu had reported to the police that the suspects’ room was releasing an offensive stench.
