Remko Jurian Pasveer, a goalkeeper for Eredivisie club Ajax and the Netherlands national team, was born in the Netherlands on November 8, 1983.

He moved to Heracles Almelo in the summer of 2006, where he first served as Martin Pieckenhagen’s backup goalkeeper.

A fan favorite in Deventer after a rocky start, Pasveer was loaned to Go Ahead Eagles during the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons. At the time, they competed in the Eerste Divisie. Pasveer returned to Heracles for the 2010–2011 campaign, but this time in the position of starting goalkeeper. After four years as a starter, he made the decision not to sign a contract extension.

The Netherlands team that triumphed at the 2006 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Portugal included Pasveer.

Pasveer began playing football with the neighborhood SC Enschede. After that, he relocated to FC Twente, where he served as the backup goalkeeper to Cees Paauwe and Sander Boschker from 2003 to 2006.

Pasveer made his UEFA Nations League debut for the Netherlands on September 22, 2022, starting against Poland. After Sander Boschker, who made his Dutch national team debut at age 39 in 2010, he made his debut at age 38.
