Divine Ikubor, better known by her stage name Rema, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter. She was born on May 1, 2000. When “Dumebi” was released in 2019, he first became well-known. Rema signed with Jonzing World, a record company run by D’Prince, a Nigerian artist affiliated with Mavin Records.
His biggest international success came with the popular song “Calm Down” in 2022. The American singer Selena Gomez collaborated on the remix of the song, which reached at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart for a record-breaking 52 weeks.
