The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has acknowledged the frustrations caused by recent power outages in parts of the country.
Richard Ahiagbah, the Director of Communications for the party, assured that there is light at the end of the tunnel for this challenge.
Ahiagbah attributed the power outages to maintenance work being carried out by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG). He emphasized that the ongoing maintenance work will soon be completed, bringing an end to the disruptions in power supply.
In response to criticism from members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) regarding the outages, Ahiagbah stated, “The NDC is the last political organization to point fingers because Ghana has not forgotten the hurts of the ‘real dumsor’ suffered under H.E. Mahama.”
He further reassured the public that the maintenance works are almost complete, and soon they can expect uninterrupted power supply around the clock, as seen under the current Akufo-Addo-Bawumia Administration.
