Actor John Dumelo has indicated that he has severally rejected sex from women who approach him for assistance.
This comment from the NDC member and actor comes days after Moesha Bodoung in an interview on CNN indicated that young Ghanaian ladies cannot make ends meet because of the “hard economy”.
She mentioned that for a lady to be able to pay her rent, she needs to be sleeping with a rich married man who can take care of her needs.
But reacting to the interview, actor John Dumelo noted that Moesha was speaking the truth and was just been real.
He mentioned that he has on several occasion rejected sex from some young ladies who send him messages to assist them pay their rent or school fees.
He said “I have been in situations where ladies have messaged me to say that ‘…I need to pay my rent or my school fees or some favour in return I’ll offer you something”.
“I told the girl that I wouldn’t do that. ‘If you want money, I’ll give you your money for your rent or whatever it is but I’m not going to give you in return for your sexual favours or anything’.”
