Renowned Kumawood actor Oboy Siki recently shared a disturbing story about his father’s experience during the era of late former President Jerry John Rawlings.
According to Oboy Siki, his father, Amana, who was a teacher and owned 12 vehicles, was subjected to cruel treatment by soldiers loyal to Rawlings.
During that time, Amana often overloaded his vehicles due to his close relationship with a local police officer. This led to him being targeted by Rawlings’ soldiers, who allegedly lashed him on one occasion, delivering 24 brutal lashes.
