Alejandro was determined to become a football superstar, with music and dancing just his hobby. Things changed after friends persuaded him to upload music he was working on to SoundCloud.
That was a watershed moment in his life and his ticket to stardom. The 29-year-old musician was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and raised in Canóvanas and Carolina.
He comes from a family of musicians, his dad, guitarist Ral Ocasio, and his mother, backing vocalist Mara Nelly Ruiz, introduced him to Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brown, among others.
The promising star is currently single and has no children, but he stated at the event that he intends to start a family later next year.
