Another issue has been added to the long list of legal issues facing rapper Kodak Black.
In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the artist was taken into custody on Friday after hundreds of oxycodone tablets were found in his car during a traffic stop.
The 25-year-old rapper was stopped by authorities in Fort Lauderdale while operating a Dodge Durango for allegedly having an illegal window tint.
Police searched his truck after claiming to have smelled drugs. 31 tablets and $74,960 in cash were found there.
The vehicle’s tags and license were also out of date. With accusations pending, Black was brought to the Broward County jail. according to a TMZ report.
Bill Kahan Kapri, sometimes known as Black, who was born Dieuson Octave, has had a number of run-ins with the law. He has sold more than 30 million singles since 2014 and is well-known for songs like “No Flockin” and “Roll in Peace.”
According to law enforcement sources and different media stories, Black was one of the three people who were shot outside the Justin Bieber after-party in West Hollywood earlier this year.
After the incident, Black ran away, but he later called the police from a nearby place to claim being shot.
