C-Knight, whose real name was Arnez Blount, one of hip hop’s icons and founding member of rap group Dove Shack has died aged 52.  C-Knight Was married with two kids.

C-Knight was the father of  Mason, 12, and Madilyn Knight, who will soon turn 13.  Knight was very private about his personal life and family details, so there is not much information available online.

According to TMZ, the artist was hospitalized on October 18 due to complications from diabetes. C-Knight’s heart subsequently stopped after suffering a stroke, and he was resuscitated and placed on life support.

Sadly, C-Knight has passed away as fighting for his life, Knight was born Arnez Blount on June 15, 1971, and grew up in the 21st Street neighborhood of Long Beach.

Knight joined The Dove Shack along with Bo-Roc and 2Scoops, and they made their debut on Warren G’s 1994 album Regulate, G Funk Era. Their biggest hit was “Summertime in the LBC”, which reached No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1995.
