It is heartbreaking to learn of the untimely passing of one of the great artists in South Africa.
South African rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, better known as AKA, was shot and died instantly just hours before his 35th birthday party, which was set to take place tonight(February 10th).
The tragic incident occurred in front of YUGO nightclub in Stamford Hill, Durban (South Africa), where he was scheduled to perform that night as part of his 35th birthday party celebration.
Apparently, AKA was said to have been standing outside the nightclub when he was murdered in a drive-by gunshot.
Per our findings just before 10 p.m., two unknown vehicles are thought to have started the fire.
Details concerning the award-winning rapper’s death are currently rare since his assailants fled the scene quickly after shooting him multiple times in the chest.
