Randall Ladonald Cobb II, an American football wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL), was born on August 22, 1990. He was selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft after playing college football at Kentucky. Additionally, he spent one season with the Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys.
Cobb’s parents were Randall Cobb Sr. and likewise, Tina Cobb Sr. Randall worked at the Denso auto parts factory in Maryville, Tennessee, and in the evenings, Randall II helped with side jobs like installing ceramic tile floors, mowing lawns, and plowing snow. After graduating from high school as a track star, Tina worked at Denso, where she met Randall Sr.
Cobb won a “Mr. Football” award from the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association for his football team, which won the Class AA State Championship four times. He played special teams, offense, and defense at the time, but he was best known as the Tornadoes’ quarterback. As a junior, while playing basketball for Micah Marsh, he was named to the All-District team.
