As the current head coach of the Indian cricket team, Rahul Dravid was the captain and player for the Under-19 and ‘A’ teams in the past.
Although his family eventually relocated to Bangalore, Karnataka, he was brought up there after being born on January 11, 1973, into a Marathi household in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Rahul Dravid and Vijeta Pendharkar tied the wedding on May 4, 2003. Vijeta is a surgeon by trade. Vijeta and Rahul Dravid are parents of two sons. Samit, their older son, was born in 2005. At initially, he had no interest in cricket, but during India’s 2010–11 tour to South Africa, he developed a strong interest in the sport.
He is currently playing cricket in his age group. At the age of ten, he made 125 runs for Bangalore United Cricket Club in the Tiger Cup. In 2020, Samit gained notoriety as he broke two double hundreds in two months.
Anvay is the younger son of Rahul Dravid. 2009 was his birth year. He and his mother traveled to the UK in 2011, when he saw his father’s lone Twenty20 international match.
Upon seeing their father at work, Anvay and his brother Samit were ecstatic. His name was also visible on the Lord’s honor board.
