Rafael Nadal acknowledges he feels bad for world number 1, Novak Djokovic after he was denied access into Australia.
He also claims his rival was aware of the risks of not getting vaccinated when he arrived for the Australian Open.
Nadal claimed that he has already been vaccinated twice hence rules were needed to be followed.

He stated in an interview;
“He made his own judgments, and everyone is allowed to make their own decisions. Of course, I don’t like the current scenario. I feel terrible for him in some ways. At the same time, he has been aware of the circumstances for some months and has made his own decision”.
Novak Djokovic however was held by border authorities on Thursday amid a storm of criticism over the decision to allow him a medical exemption from immunization requirements to compete in the competition.
We await the epic conclusion of this Covid Tale in Melbourne in the coming days.
