Daly was chosen sixth overall in the 2016 NWSL College Draft by the Houston Dash.
Daly was named NWSL Media Association Player of the Week for the first week of the season after scoring and assisting in the Dash’s 3-1 victory over the Chicago Red Stars. In 2016, she featured in 16 games and had four goals and four assists.
Daly has played for England at the under-15, under-17, under-19, and under-23 levels.
She played for England’s U-17 FIFA Women’s World Cup squad in 2008, which placed fourth in New Zealand.
When Mark Sampson took over as England coach in December 2013, he picked Daly to his first squad.
In June 2016, she earned her maiden senior cap, scoring in England’s 7-0 UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 qualification triumph over Serbia. Daly was left out of Sampson’s Euro 2017 team.
Daly was named in England’s team for the 2018 SheBelieves Cup by new head coach Phil Neville after not being called up for over a year.
Daly appeared in four of England’s World Cup qualification games in 2018, as the team won their group and qualified for the tournament.
