One Nothern region based Facebook user who is known as Idris Elba has taken on R2Bees, who are from the region but have refused to affiliate themselves with up and coming stars from the region.
In a post, which seemed to be a reaction to Stonebwoy’s grand entry into Tamale yesterday for a concert with fast rising singer Fancy Gadam, was straight forward.
According to Idris, R2Bees will regret someday for not collaborating with their brothers from the region because they garner at least 20,000 audience per show.
Idris wrote:
“Dear R2Bees,you will regret not getting on songs with your brothers from here in the North because they now clock up to 20,000 audiences a show and they will soon be bigger than most of you down South as they are winning the interest of your colleagues who are from South.
The last time you did a Dagbani song was when you were coming down here for a show. We are not kids anymore and we are not moved by just somebody’s appearance or music but we respect artists who now respect Tamale and Dagbon as a whole.
Big up to Maccasio, Fancy Gadam, Don Sigli, Lil K, Saani, Gaffachi, Sky, Dobble Tee, Nuru, Shaker Bilz, DBoy, Nandos and all others Tamale based artistes who are making us proud.”
