An experienced tennis player from China named Zheng Qinwen is competing in the Canadian Championship.
The Chinese tennis player gained prominence and peaked at No. 46 in the singles rankings on June 13, 2022. She is now ranked second in China.
Zheng advanced to rank 80 in the top 100 on January 31, 2022. After winning the opening round match against Aliaksandra Sasnovich at the Australian Open, the Chinese tennis player qualified for her first Grand Slam competition.
At the Palermo Ladies Open, the Chinese tennis player made her WTA Tour debut. She also won her first match after shocking second-seeded Liudmila Samsonova in the first round.
In the ITF circuit event’s final match, Zheng defeated Linda Fruhvirtova to win Tennis Future Hamburg in January 2021.
