Edna Yaa Kwaah Kwarteng of VRA International School recently won the inaugural Teen Queen Ghana pageant in Accra, writing her name in gold.
The nine-week program, which was intended for kids aged 13 to 19, attracted participants from all around the nation.
However, Yaa Kwaah stood out in every category—talent exhibition, culture, and tradition, to name a few—in the end.
She won over both the judges and the raucous crowd of fans at CTV Studios with her incredible performance.
She will also likely receive instructional materials, other gifts from sponsors, and an all-expenses-paid trip to Dubai as compensation for her work.
She thanked ASKOF Productions, the event’s organizers, for providing her with a stage on which to showcase her abilities.
Sese Naa Dromo Efua Ayitey from Aburi Girls Senior High School and Abena Dansoa Opoku from Kaneshie Awudome 3 JHS trailed after her.
Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum, CEO of ASKOF Productions Limited, said, “I must admit that I am fulfilled seeing these young girls display pure talents.” Even though it’s a first edition, I can assure you that the bar was set very high.
