Ghanaians today woke up to the sad news about the death of former Vice President of Ghana, Amissah Arthur. There has been shock, confusion and general sadness among the majority.
What has even made it more unbelievable is a post currently during rounds that the late Vice President posted on June 27, just 2 days ago on his Twitter page expressing how proud he was of his wife Matilda Amissah Arthur and congratulating her on her book launch.
He had tweeted “Book launch, Congrats Matilda”. A clear indication of a very proud family man who was totally glad about the achievement of his better half.
Matilda Nana Manye Amissah-Arthur is a politician and a Librarian by profession. She was also enstooled as a queen mother of Logba-Adzakoe in 2016, with the stool name of Unandze Afan Eshi (Mamaga Afeamenyo I).
