David Madison Cawthorn is an American politician who has served as the U.S. representative for North Carolina’s 11th congressional district since 2021.
A member of the Republican Party, he was elected to Congress in 2020 to succeed Republican Mark Meadows.
The young Congressman was born on August 1, 1995. The 26 years old is currently the youngest person ever to serve in congress since Jed Johnson Jr who was 24 at the time of his election.
Madison is partially paralyzed and uses a wheelchair as a result of a car accident he was involved in which severely injured him.
