Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC) has won the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
The PRESEC team, led by Benedict Partey Dortey and Selinam Kofi Mortey, secured a convincing victory for their school after beating two strong contenders, Achimota School and Opoku Ware School, in a fierce finale on Monday, October 30.
PRESEC secured 40 points to win the trophy. Achimota School and Opoku Ware School secured 28 and 23 points respectively.

And they marched to victory!

This means Achimota School were the first runner-up and Opoku Ware School, on the other hand, were the second runner-up.
It’s also a history for PRESEC as this win becomes their eighth in the competition. They won it in 1995, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2020, 2022, and 2023.
