Que Maria Scott, a 29-year-old woman claiming to be pregnant, was detained by airport security after allegedly attacking a Spirit Airlines employee at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Police documents state that the brawl broke out when airline employees turned Scott away from boarding gate D2 on Sunday night. Witnesses reported that Scott threatened to “beat our a–” and attacked an airline manager who intervened. A video shared on Twitter shows Scott punching and tackling the manager, Jasmine Rhoden, into a barrier while onlookers try to intervene.
According to the police report, it took four bystanders to separate Scott from Rhoden. Rhoden stated that Scott smelled of alcohol, although Scott claimed to be pregnant when police arrived. She faces disorderly conduct charges and was held on $1,500 bond after being cleared by medical personnel. The airline has not yet responded to requests for comment.
